REGISTRATION AND ADMISSIONOnce you have decided, in consultation with your doctor, to have an operation at the Pyramid Clinic at the Lake, you will be referred to us. We will arrange an appointment for your admission and will make the preparations for your stay in an unbureaucratic and efficient manner. We will take your personal needs into account at all times. Along with written confirmation of the appointment for your operation, you will receive information about your upcoming stay in our clinic, plus details of any tests or preparatory measures that may be required in the lead-up to your operation. We will be happy to arrange for you to come and inspect our facilities beforehand, if you wish. If you are looking for a doctor, you can approach us directly with your concerns . We will be happy to arrange an appointment for you with a suitable specialist. Admission on the day of your operation You will usually arrive at our clinic on the morning of your operation. We do not believe in admitting patients on the evening before the operation, as this extra overnight stay is medically unnecessary and only leads to undue extra expense for you. On arrival you will be warmly welcomed by our receptionist. Any formalities will be quickly completed in a friendly environment. Your personal contact person from Guest Relations will then accompany you either to your room or straight to the recovery room in the day clinic, where you can prepare for the upcoming procedure. We hope that we can lessen the natural anxiety you may feel before your operation by giving you helpful and individual attention in a warm and reassuring environment.
