GASTRONOMYSince 2009, the Pyramid has enjoyed a kitchen equipped to the best and most up-to-date hotel standards. All dishes are freshly prepared on the premises. Christopher Meinen, the new chef, learnt his trade in haute cuisine and demonstrated his skills under the aegis of Rico Zandonella in Petermann's Kunststuben in Küsnacht. Petermann's Kunststuben is renowned nationally and internationally with its 19 Gault Millau points. Christoph Meinen now has his own team of six staff at the Pyramid. A-la-carte and room service for patients and guests Patients at the Pyramid Clinic are free to choose both their meals and their meal times themselves. In other words: Hospital meals with fixed ordering and eating times are a thing of the past. In addition, the nurses at the Pyramid can concentrate on their core competencies. We have staff from the hospitality industry to take orders and serve meals. Our room service staff take your order and send it via a hand-held device directly to the kitchen. The order is triggered as soon as it is received by the kitchen. All dishes are freshly prepared. As well as our patients, doctors and guests can enjoy the delights of the new Pyramid cuisine. Visitors can order from our menu at any time. Fresh, seasonal cuisine We place great emphasis on seasonal, market-fresh, quality foods that are both easily digestible and healthy. The menu includes delicious fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. Our cuisine takes into account any medical needs, diets or intolerances that our patients may have. This means that patients who follow a specific diet or require puréed foods do not miss out. Every dish is freshly prepared with great attention to detail. |
